Darren goes commando!

DT meets some real heroes

Darren was at Brands Hatch earlier this week, taking part in a track day for Royal Marines Commandos, injured in Afghanistan.

The soldiers all had a great time out on track with Darren in one of Brands Hatch’s new BMW M3s and Gary Eastwood's GT3 Porsche, where they discovered exactly what a car can do in the hands of a pro. 

“I had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed the company of some very brave people,” said Darren.  “These guys really are heroes so it’s good to do anything we can to help the charity.”

The event was organised by Martin Lewis of NCPI Solutions, one of Darren’s longest-standing sponsors, and Gary Eastwood of LKM.
